Reunion

So I have been months in posting this but here is the news. We are planning for the weekend of August 21 and 22. So far the plan is to have an alumni night on Friday, the 21st at the high school for just graduates, then on the 22nd have a nice dinner for our fellow classmates and their spouces.

We are also tracking all of you down. Here is what would help; if you get a call from one of the class presidency maybe have on hand some numbers of friends that you have kept in touch with. That would help us a ton. We only have about 10 months so help us out.

We are still open to suggestions for activites as well as other stuff. Leave a comment.

So, I am aparently not good at tracking people down. So if you were a senior class officer from our senior year (obviously) I need you to look me up at the Roy High website, royhighroyals.com and e-mail me so that we can get planning. I guess even if you are not a senior class officer we'll be looking for you soon so you can e-mail your contact info to me there.

Update

Well, I can tell you are all as excited about coming to a reunion as I am to plan it. So. . . here are a couple of ideas I have been batting around. We could have a luau now as lame as that might sound there is a group down near BYU somewhere and they put on a really great program. I was thinking we could have it at the High School (I have some connections) and then just have it catered. Okay, truth be told that is the only idea I have. I also want to collect pictures of people and their families as we can before hand and put together a slideshow. I realize that it is a year away but, for those of us planning that isn't very long. Also I seem to have misplaced my rap book and if anyone has one from '99 that would be willing to donate that would be great, we've got to start tracking you all down.

Count Down

Well, we don't have long until the big 10, can you believe it. I created this blog to kind of get us started in tracking classmates and planning the big event. We want to make our 10 year something we can all have a great time at and also want to see that as many people as possible attend. So I was thinking we would have it sometime in May or June of 2009 but want to leave this and the planning up to suggestion. SO if you have any suggestions of what we should do or what date to have the 10 Year on leave a comment.
